To celebrate Nike’s release of the Air Max Pre-Day we chose to highlight some local creatives from our community.


Mini Swoosh
Alexandra Hackett (AKA Mini Swoosh) is a multi-disciplinary designer that specialises in waste-reducing ergonomic pattern-cutting and fully reconstructed and upcycled product design. With extensive experience in apparel design and development, Alexandra’s expertise lies in her exploration of non-traditional fabrications and function-driven design that aims to extend the lifespan and reduce the impact of new products.








Cactus Vision
Cactus Vision are a cactus collecting couple who treasure desert plants. In consideration to Australia’s current climate, Cactus Vision bring forward a wide selection of rare species. With years of experience in desert landscaping, it is their dream to share these drought tolerant plants with Australia and educate about smart gardening, in an attempt to preserve natural water supplies, making water more available in times of need and drought.










Raenee Sydney
Raenee Sydney is a local ceramicist that crafts sculpturally functional pieces with a purposeful twist to create characteristic cups, bowls, jugs and plates. Raenee also teaches pottery classes at a local ceramic studio in Marrickville.
