Started as a blog in 2008 by graphic designer Will Bankhead, The Trilogy Tapes is a scrapbook of obscure images, gig flyers and new music that share a unique off-kilter sensibility. Bankhead was one of the main visual directors for James Lavelle's [UNKLE] Mo'Wax label, having a hand in designing LP sleeves for DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Money Mark and many more influential artists.
Bankhead also co-ran the PK Record label with Honest Jon co-owner Mark Ainsley, dealing with House and Dub records; he continues to release music under his TTT label. The label is an outlet for more experimental genres of electronic music to esoteric folk compilations by artists who would release records on his label using an incognito alias.
Always taking the road less travelled led by Bankhead's insatiable curiosity and eye for the unusual, The Trilogy Tapes lends a discerning approach to graphic heavy designs and garments that compliment the music.
